Brian Willingham is a 12-year-veteran of the Flint, Michigan police department. The author of two books Thunder Enlightening the poetry and photography of a Black Man in Middle America and Soul of a Black Cop. Soul of a Black Cop has been used as required reading in criminal justice, sociology, African-American studies, Psychology and Theology courses across the country.
